Part 1
Privacy Policy
Information we may collect
We may collect information that you choose to provide when you call, text, or otherwise contact us, such as your name, telephone number, message content, communication preferences, and details needed to respond to your request. Our website host and service providers may also process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and security logs, to operate and protect the website.
Embedded Thrive Care application
The application displayed on our website is a Thrive Care application. Information you enter into that embedded application is submitted directly through Thrive Care's application system. Meal Support NY does not receive or store the information entered in that embedded application through this website. Thrive Care and the applicable Social Care Network or service providers may process that information under their own privacy practices and program requirements.
How we use information
We may use information we receive directly to:
- Respond to questions and requests for assistance.
- Provide requested information about meal support and related Social Care Network resources.
- Follow up after you request assistance, provide requested links, coordinate screening or referral steps, and send reminders or service updates.
- Send informational text messages when you consent.
- Operate, secure, maintain, and improve our website and communications.
- Comply with applicable law and prevent fraud or misuse.
Data Sharing
Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing described elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.
We may use service providers that help us operate our website, telephone system, messaging service, security, or other essential business functions. They may process information only as needed to provide those services and may not use it for their own promotional purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganization where legally permitted.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for information we control. No electronic system is completely secure. We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, to meet legal obligations, or to resolve disputes.
Your Choices
You may ask us to update or delete information that we control by contacting us. Certain information may be retained when required by law or for legitimate recordkeeping.
SMS opt-out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or call us at 929-829-8009.
Children's privacy
Our website and messaging program are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Part 2
Di Bletel LLC (Meal Support New York) SMS Terms & Conditions
Program description
By opting in, you agree to receive informational text messages from Meal Support New York, operated by Di Bletel LLC. Messages may include responses to inquiries, information about potential meal support or related resources, eligibility-screening follow-ups, requested application links, document reminders, application updates, appointment coordination, and meal-delivery support.
Consent
You may opt in verbally during a telephone or in-person conversation. Our staff will identify the messaging program, explain the types of messages, disclose that message frequency varies and that message and data rates may apply, explain how to use STOP and HELP, and ask for your agreement before sending any text message. We maintain a record of that consent. An unanswered call, voicemail, website visit, or possession of a telephone number is not treated as consent. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving services.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and communication needs. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt out and help
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or call us at 929-829-8009. We will send a final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will no longer receive SMS messages unless you opt in again.
Eligibility and program relationship
Meal Support NY is an outreach and referral service operated by Di Bletel LLC. We are not New York State Medicaid, and we do not determine eligibility or guarantee approval, benefits, meals, or other services. Thrive Care and the applicable Social Care Network determine eligibility under their program requirements.
Changes to these terms
We may update this policy and these terms from time to time. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued participation after an update is subject to the updated terms, except where additional consent is required by law.
